We are the Planemos

It began more then 3 years ago, in a small basement - just friends coming together to play music. Eventually it evolved into our wonderful band named The Planemos. Since then, as we grew, changed and started preforming, we decided to start a special long-term project - the making of our  album “Cigarette Break”.

We knew this wouldn’t be just any album. “Cigarette Break” was recorded for a period of more then 2 years and we grew alongside it. Each song was born in a different time, with a different us. We changed as we recorded each and every song. Once we were done, our album became a reflection of who we were, are, and will be. Each song became a time capsule, capturing a certain period of our private history. We look back on it now, see our former selves and we couldn’t be prouder. This long journey that we took together, changed us as musicians and today we are who we are thanks to this album.

We hope you will all enjoy “Cigarette Break” and we officially welcome you to our family of music, love, and friendship.

We are the Planemos.

Special Thanks:

Noam Koren - This album means so much to me, I don’t even know where to begin. It was always my dream to create music and bring this album to life. Now that it’s here, I feel so lucky. This album is me. It’s who I am and it all happened because of a certain chapter of my life - the most significant and special moments that changed me completely. Once it ended I had so much to say, so much to write. That is how the idea for this album was born. So first and foremost, I would like to thank my band members who helped me bring this dream to life. I love you all. Second, I want to thank Noam Yadgar for all your hard work and amazing contribution, thank you for making this album a reality. Third, I want to thank my beautiful and amazing wife, Bella, for being my anchor. I couldn’t have done this without your love and support. Thank you for always believing in me. You are my sunshine. Fourth, I want to thank my family and friends (you know who you are), for the amazing amount of support.I can’t thank you enough. I would also want to thank our first and former drummer Gilad, without whom, there would be no Planemos. You began this journey with us and I thank you for it. This album is yours as much as it’s mine. Finally, I would like to thank my friends back in Latvia, who were the inspiration to this album. Thank you so much for everything. You will always be in my heart. This album is dedicated to you.

I also want to thank my family in the U.S. I love you, cherish you, and receive a lot of positive energy from you— even while being so far away.  You truly inspire me in so many ways, I can't even begin to describe.

Noam Davidovich - As with most of the best experiences in life, this was one I stumbled into. Noam invited me to play with him and Igal Osetinsky and because they were both already playing guitar, I picked up an old bass that belonged to my sister (thanks Adi!) and a band was created. This band has changed and evolved into what it is today - a group of friends, a group of brothers. This album is a representation of our personal and musical growth together and is something that is very dear to me. It couldn’t have been possible without two people: Noam, you gave me a voice

to express myself musically even though I never believed I could. And Segev, you are a great inspiration to me both musically and personally. I love you both, I thank you both. I would also want to thank my dear wife Shani. You always believed in me and gave me your strength and assurance - you're my love, you're my everything. Furthermore, I would like to thank my family and friends - you're awesome and I couldn't be more thankful for your support along the way. Finally, I would like to thank Max Kharitonov, our current drummer, who is a great musician and a great friend. To our former band members and to Noam Yadgar - we couldn't have done this without you all.
